SUPERVISORY HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will direct the work of four or more housing office employees planning, developing, scheduling, implementing, and overall technical oversight.
  • You will plan work assignment and/or make adjustments to meet substantial changes in workload and deadlines.
  • You will assign work, review work, and/or accept or reject work products, while providing additional guidance as necessary.
  • You will monitor monthly expenses against the budget to identify fiscal execution trends.
  • You will collect weekly Billeting Reports to ensure accuracy of inventory, utilization, and occupancy rate.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Possesses knowledge of housing regulations, requirements, administrative and business practice, safety, security, sanitation, hazardous; 2) Demonstrates knowledge of PPV regulations, policies, and procedures in order to serve as a government representative in PPV matters at the installation and to provide appropriate oversight in the execution of the PPV business agreement; 3) Demonstrates knowledge of all aspects of residential property management for the management, operation, and maintenance of family housing units, including facilities accounted for in the Family Housing Property Account and including the determination of permanent requirements; and 4) Possesses knowledge of contract quality assurance procedures, technical knowledge of contract functions, and detailed knowledge of contract specifications to perform quality assurance inspections.
