Job Summary: This position is located at Department of Family, Morale and Welfare on Fort Bliss. Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor. (AR 215-3 2-5). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major Duties:

  • Serves as Accountable Officer for NAF property to include management of all NAF fixed assets, buildings, vehicles and expendable property, equipment and supplies. Initiates and processes Financial Liability investigations.
  • Responsible for program planning, execution, coordination of the supply program and equipment disposal in support of all operations in the area of responsibility. Management and oversight of NAF Auctions and inventory sales.
  • Warehousing duties involve the responsibility for establishing standard procedures, implementation of regulatory policies and operating central warehouse facility for NAF and APF supplies and equipment.
  • Provides initial and refreshers training to hand receipt holders and designated disinterested inventory personnel. Conducts 100% accountability inventory annually. Ensures vehicle maintenance and usage records are maintained.
  • Performs the full range of supervisory personnel management duties for lower graded employees. Provide technical support, training and advice to subordinate staff.

Experience supervising or managing subordinate staff. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower pay level.
