Job Summary: You will serve as the Deputy Section Head, in the Resourcing Branch (N804) within the Programming Division (N80) of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as: 1.) Utilizing all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to analyze the Command's programs and resources; 2.) Managing and resolving resource sponsorship issues related to Program Objective Memorandum (POM) formulation and re-programming efforts; 3.) Applying capability-based analysis using high-level strategic guidance (e.g., CAAPP, DPG, etc.) to the POM development process to determine prioritization of emergent issues; 4.) Collaborating with resource sponsors and external staff to resolve critical budget, accounting, and financial management programming issues; 5.) Expert proficiency in both PBIS database and PBIS Web applications. This position requires direct PBIS database entry and is the primary QA of the issue entry inputs from dozens of users. As the PBIS database administrator, a core function is also to keep constant track and organization of resources and their alignment to programs in the N97 portfolio.
