Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following; Experience supporting the development/issue and implementation of acquisition policies and procedures/guidance for a federal agency, including responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency supplements, OMB directives, and statutory requirements; Experience providing leadership and strategic direction to a skilled acquisition workforce, that is responsible for the lifecycle of contract administration (pre award, award, post award, close out/termination).- Professional knowledge of a full range of Federal contracting laws, executive orders, regulations, principles, policies, procedures, methods, techniques, and contract types. Serve as an advisor to senior management on acquisition issues, program goals, and objectives. Represents the Command when working with both internal and external stakeholders on complex and sensitive contracting actions/talent management.
