Primary Job Responsibilities – Includes, but not limited to:
Participate in the recruiting, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and discipline of Team Members.
Assists in facilitating and completing performance reviews of team members on a yearly basis.
Make detailed written reports or follow-up reports on incidents that occur on property.
Work closely with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies while conducting investigations.
Report repairs needed to Surveillance equipment to the department Technicians via e-mail or the iTrak system for record accuracy; in the event of the system(s) being down, a verbal request will be sent to the Technicians.
Utilize Surveillance video equipment to ensure accurate video documentation regarding irregularities or deviations from normal activities; write factual reports about abnormal activity observed and compliance violations.
Conduct observations and investigate suspicious activity on the Casino floor.
Check all Surveillance equipment at the start of the shift to ensure everything is in good working condition.
Monitor and document all night club and day club activities.
Detect and identify theft, fraud and other criminal activities in all point-of-sale environments.
Views the Casino areas for identification of cheating activities, undesirables, pilferage and embezzlement.
Assists with scheduling to meet staffing objectives to adequately protect the guests, team members and assets of Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas.
Ensures Surveillance team members are adhering to company policies and procedures.
Utilize AI and other software programs, investigating and analyzing data and alerts provided.
Coordinates the day-to-day activities related to the gaming and cash handling areas.

Assists in facilitating and completing performance reviews of team members on a yearly basis.
Monitor Table Games, Slots, Cages, Soft Count and the Race and Sports.
Assist Security in protecting the welfare of the team members and guests of the Casino and Hotel.
Coordinate with local, state and federal law enforcement in the investigation of criminal activity which occurred on company property.
When required, will record video incidents to USB’s and prepare incident reports.
Pass Surveillance examinations that reflect and demonstrate current/actual job knowledge when administered by management as outlined in current procedures.
Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
At least two years of experience in gaming Surveillance, monitoring a casino, and conducting in-depth investigations.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
At least 21 years of age.
Must be available to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
Preferred:
Previous Casino Surveillance supervisory experience.
Knowledge of Gaming Minimum Internal Casino Standards, local jurisdictional gaming laws, and Nevada Revised Statutes.
Knowledgeable on state gaming regulations and statutes and a thorough understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
Knowledgeable of all Casino games, including payoffs, and game odds, specific knowledge of all areas observed, including but not limited to, rules, procedures, cheating methods, and card counting methods.
Working knowledge in detection of advantage play (card counters, top card, and hole card).
Ability to make decisions based on existing evidence and protects the assets of Resorts World Las Vegas.
Working knowledge of all computer-based programs used by Surveillance, iTrak, BJ Survey, Bravo Sessions, or equivalent.

Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
