This is a non-union positionWe are looking for a Supervisor Strategic Financial Evaluations to join our team in North York Ontario.
The Supervisor will lead and contribute directly to the development, review, and ongoing maintenance of complex financial models that support new capital projects and strategic initiatives. This is a working supervisor position, combining leadership and active participation in modeling and analysis.

What You Will Do:
Supervise, guide, and support team members in building and maintaining integrated financial models, ensuring the use of standardized metrics and consideration of all relevant tax, financing, accounting, legal, and regulatory factors.
Develop and review complex financial models and investment evaluations.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all investment analyses performed by the team.
Support the BU and Corporate project approval process, by preparing financial forecasts for proposed initiatives, collaborating with business units and other teams to ensure robust evaluation.
Oversee the preparation of materials for regulatory filings, including evidence, schedules, and studies for rate and facilities applications or hearings.
Report outcomes to team members and work together on day-to-day and longer- term plans, encouraging transparency and a focus on continuous improvement.
Participate in committees and task forces as assigned, sharing departmental perspectives and supporting the adoption of best practices.
Conduct and oversee post-investment reviews, comparing actual results to approved economics, and ensure lessons learned are implemented.
Research and analyze industry trends and best practices in financial modeling, disseminating insights to the team and applying them in practice.
Who You Are:
University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering (MBA, CFA, CPA, B. Comm, or similar preferred) from a recognized institution.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in feasibility assessments or capital investment analysis, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong understanding of accounting, tax, and finance principles.
Exceptional communication, business acumen, interpersonal, persuasion, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
