Role / Department Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting in Guernsey, the Financial Reporting team is responsible for preparing annual statutory accounts and interim financial reports for Northern Trust’s fiduciary and fund client base. These reports are produced in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards and include managing the audit process for a diverse range of entities—such as companies, trusts, and limited partnerships—registered across multiple jurisdictions.
This role will primarily focus on the fiduciary client portfolio, which comprises two key segments:
Asset Owners – A multi-billion-dollar portfolio of pension trusts, endowments, and corporate entities representing Northern Trust’s strategic institutional clients. Global Family Office – High-net-worth individuals and family office clients with complex, bespoke requirements.
