Job Title: Supervisor, Kit Production  

Department: Logistics

Location: Onsite, 160 Elmgrove park Rochester, NY

Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday

SUMMARY

The Supervisor, Kit Production performs a variety of tasks within Kit production including supervising personnel in the Logistics department and co-ordinate the dispatch of kits and priorities accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide the team with daily/weekly meetings briefing daily/weekly scheduled orders and targets to be achieved.
  • Ensure all set work (daily/future) provided to staff is completed in a timely manner and follow up should work be not completed.
  • Maintain and update error log book accordingly and also update Logistics Manager on a weekly basis.

  • Communicate daily issues/queries relating to orders placed by PM’s and CTA’s.
  • Provide full assistance with all QC checking when required.
  • Assist with the preparation of kit building as and when needed to investigators according to the laboratory protocol and Client/Project Manager instructions.
  • Co-ordinate and ensure the provision of information and clear communication to appropriate areas including Production, PM’s and CTA’s.
  • Assist Manager and provide key training for staff in areas to develop them to the best of their abilities including new starters.
  • Provide daily updates to the Manager.
  • Ensure consistency is maintained with printing technicians and kit build technicians.
  • Support and assist Manager and Stock Manager with stock taking when needed.
  • Manage the department in the absence of the logistics Manager.
  • Assist Logistics Manager maintain and reduce overtime where possible.
  • Provide logistics support to ACM Global studies including but not limited to:
  • Arrange for special transportation of kits to investigators via appropriate courier services.
  • Maintain motivation of logistics Team and promote a can do attitude.
  • Assist the Logistics Manager with appraisals.
  • Ensure sample kits are produced for new and upcoming studies.
  • Support in other areas of the company as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing, clinical trials or logistics
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership experience preferred

$63,000.00 - $78,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
