Your impact at Belron Canada

As the Inventory Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and optimization of inventory within the distribution center. You will act as a hands-on leader and systems expert, driving operational excellence, data accuracy, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Finance, Procurement, IT, Inventory Planning, and Branch Operations to ensure seamless inventory flow and reliable system performance.

What you’ll do day-to-day

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and reconciliation between AS400 and WMS

  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, failed transactions, and system discrepancies

  • Lead cycle counts, variance analysis, and root-cause investigations

  • Monitor and support WMS, Voxware, and RF systems

  • Manage operational priorities (IBTs, top-ups, order releases, wave planning)

  • Investigate and control damaged inventory, quarantine locations, and adjustments

  • Actively resolve inventory and shipment-related issues with internal partners

Key responsibilities (mid- to long-term)

  • Lead monthly physical inventory counts and prepare month-end reporting

  • Manage obsolete inventory, vendor returns, and disposal processes

  • Support financial and regulatory audits

  • Administer WMS locations (slotting, capacity, optimization)

  • Serve as the primary liaison with IT for inventory-related system issues

  • Train and support warehouse teams on inventory best practices and systems

Continuous improvement

  • Lead Lean / Kaizen initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency

  • Analyze trends (variances, damages, shrink, cancelled shipments, mis-picks)

  • Develop, update, and standardize SOPs

  • Drive system enhancements, process optimization, and automation initiatives

What we’re looking for

  • 3–5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain

  • Strong expertise with WMS, AS400, Voxware, and RF systems

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset

  • Proven leadership and hands-on operational experience

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
