Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for managing process and training consistency across the afloat installation workforce.
  • You will be evaluating and tracking maturity and platform integration to ensure alignments with Naval Modernization polices.
  • You will advise the advance panning IPT (AP IPT) on fielding plans based on product maturity and integration evaluations.
  • You will compare acquisition milestones to NMP milestones and review requirements for product maturity and provide earliest possible fielding date based on the Deep Dive assessment.
  • You will facilitate NMP training schedule to program managers on naval Modernization policies, milestones, maturity requirements and authorization process timeline to ensure efficient fielding schedules and integration testing completion.
  • You will lead installation risk mitigation actives and advise the installation planning manager when installation risk requires higher level integration.
  • You will lead change through continuous process improvements including implementation of lean six SIGMA (LSS) projects within the installation and design arena.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Responsible for providing supervisory role for Platform and Class installation Managers and manages process/training consistency across the Afloat Installation Workforce.
