Position Overview
The Supervisor of Routing is responsible for assisting management through the supervision of staff in the Transportation Routing Department. Implements and communicates routing staff schedules, standard operating procedures, and daily functions of the department. Evaluates and ensures any changes to the normal workflow are coordinated properly with the team in an efficient, operative and productive manner. Communicates necessary information to internal and external business partners as necessary.

- Supervise router activity, facilitate communication and build strong working relationships between the internal business partners (warehouse, sales, customer service, customer liaisons, IT, HR) and external business partners (carriers, vendors)
- Train and coach/assist team members on all aspects of the JDA 8 routing software, Access (TRACCS), Mainframe screens used by the routing department, Salesforce and Manhattan. Oversee all transportation routing and business decisions as it pertains to planning customer deliveries. Review reports (RAVE, Cube Leader Board) to identify how the routers are performing
- Facilitate team meetings and activities that lead the team to taking action to improve KPI's that align with department vision and maximize routing efficiency
- Managing customer delivery schedules using the Oracle application as needed. Adding/deleting records and assisting with holiday schedules when needed

- Specialized Knowledge : Experience and skill in retail distribution processes, logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations, and transportation management
