Why we're hiring:

 

We are expanding our India-based finance capability to provide high-quality support to our UK HQ Corporate Reporting team. As part of this growth, we are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to contribute to global month-end activities, management reporting, analysis and consolidated financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a global environment and is eager to take ownership of critical reporting responsibilities.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager (India) and working closely with the UK based Corporate Reporting team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for HQ and global cost centres, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Supporting the global month-end close process through preparation of accruals, prepayments and journals.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Assisting with global consolidation tasks, including system uploads, reconciliations and data checks.
  • Supporting UK-based teams in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
  • Assisting with intercompany reconciliations, recharges and settlement processes.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations, cost centre analysis and other HQ-level finance tasks.
  • Helping prepare information for internal and external auditors.
  • Assisting with SOX control documentation and supporting the improvement of control processes.
  • Partnering with global teams and shared service centres to resolve queries and ensure accuracy in financial data.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.

 

 

What you'll need:

 

  • CA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • 2–4 years’ PQE (or 4–6 years total experience) in accounting, management reporting or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
  • Experience working within a global or multinational environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with UK-based teams.
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with modern ERP systems.
