Position Summary:

The Supervising Attorney will be responsible for managing all aspects of the staff counsel office as week as help maintain and grow relationships with community partners and manage the administrative aspects of the program.  Supervising Attorney may personally handle a volume of pending lawsuits.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and supervision to compliance reviewers including workload management, training, mentoring and monitoring staff.
  • Assigns cases to outside counsel, performs oversight, and evaluates their performance.
  • May prepare for and attend trials as legal representation for insureds and/or the company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • 7+ years as a Trial Attorney.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Must be a member of the State Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing education credits.
  • The selected candidate will be required to report to the office.
