Summer Student - Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access

This is a 4-month studentship beginning in May 2026.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Summer student will assist the PRA team in preparing submission dossiers for public and private payers, maintaining performance trackers, and developing market access strategies. This may include:

  • Conducting assessments/literature reviews to understand current HTA/ pricing/ reimbursement landscape, real-world evidence, and future trends
  • Help the PRA team prepare HTA and payer submission materials (such as submission Forms, Fact Sheets, and budget impact analyses)
  • Presentations to PRA  and cross-functional teams 
  • Support PRA team in the development of tracking activities, and performance metrics measurements 

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master student in a health-related field (pharmacy, pharmacology, epidemiology, health economics), returning to full time studies in the fall
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES

  • Familiarity with Canadian reimbursement landscape
  • Project management experience
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • French language (an asset)

Additional Information:

  • This role is determined to be a flexible worker, where on-site presence in the Toronto office is expected to be 10 days per month minimum, as determined by your manager and business needs.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$22 - $29/hour

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
