Job Description

Amcor is now recruiting for summer helpers to join the team in Neenah! Positions available on a rotating 8 hour shift schedule with compensation starting at $24.58 per hour!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (some specific tasks and duties for getting the job done):

• Set up, operate, and adjust machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Supply machines with resins and with packing supplies from satellite areas.
• Make roll changes, take samples, label and pack product, and stretch wrap finished loads.
• Conduct certain quality tests and monitor product to ensure conformance to spec.
• Make inventory transactions.  Restock unused resins.
• Move waste and recycle loads to specified area, so Production Suppliers can pick up.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

UTILITY WORKERS IN COATING GET TO: Responsible for assisting extrusion laminator/coater operator in setting up and running equipment.

• Assist Coater Operator with all aspects of the job
• Learn to operate the machine and serve as backup operator when operator is away from machine or on vacation.
• Banding return stock, empty cores, headers, start-up rolls, and butt rolls
• Loading new stock on back of machine and unloading finished rolls
• Changing and cleaning silicon rolls Adjust slitters and tension for each job
• Daily and weekly housekeeping
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to use computer keyboard, mouse, and printer for entering and documenting production settings and data.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment.
