Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2026 placement with a start date of May 2026 and end-date of August 2026. 
 
In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2026), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?

The Transformation Office is the team in Commercial Banking to drive the successful delivery of Key Transformation programs that directly support Commercial Banking’s ambitious growth strategy. This group helps to maximize the effectiveness of the Operating Committee by ensuring priorities are focused on critical, high impact topics while driving transparency on spend, execution progress / issues and large-scale program investments.

The analyst will become a key member of the Commercial Banking Transformation group and support across transformation programs (International Banking, Artificial Intelligence Implementation in the Credit process, Improvements to the Client Experience through the way they are serviced and managed). The analyst will take on deliverables and become a part of the team on one of the initiatives.

What will you do?

  • Support and conduct analysis, leveraging RBC’s enterprise suite of analytical tools

  • Support with the day-to-day execution of their assigned initiatives

  • Support with the implementation and maintenance of models

  • Build, maintain and support the presentation of information in a logical, user-friendly manner tailored to the audience

  • Build relationships and collaborate with the Commercial Banking stakeholders

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Strong level of experience with Microsoft Suite of Office Programs (Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Interest in the financial services industry and Commercial Banking within RBC

  • Intellectually curious and ability to articulate point of view


Nice-to-have

  • Business Intelligence and Visualization tools experience
