In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2026), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?
Join Royal Bank of Canada’s Commercial Banking team for a dynamic summer opportunity! You will work in a fast paced, collaborative team who supports and enables over 3000 Commercial Banking advisors.
For this internship opportunity, we are looking for an individual to play a key role in enhancing our advisor capability by assisting in the development and delivery of training programs. This role is ideal for a motivated student eager to gain hands-on experience in commercial banking while contributing to initiatives that elevate client experience. This includes but is not limited to working with various partners to develop innovative ways to create learning experiences around critical thinking and client centricity for our audience.
In addition, you will work closely with senior leaders to enhance our ways of working and team cohesiveness
What will you do?
Work with our team and other stakeholders to integrate and create learning curriculum and experiences for Commercial Banking advisors
Build experience and understanding in Commercial Banking
Build team cohesiveness and strengthen efficiency and ways of working
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
Strong written/oral communication skills to develop and present thoughtful and insightful explanations
Proven competence/comfort level with building and organizing multi-media in an online platform
Ability to problem solve complex problems and take ownership to finding solutions
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
Attention to detail and time management is critical
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Nice-to-have
Previous exposure to financial services industry
Previous experience with learning/training/development
