Our paid summer internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting a powerful mission: Finding cures. Saving children.

Internship Details: 

  • Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026 

  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday) 

  • Pay: $14/hour 

  • Location: 101 Marietta St NW Suite 3100 Atlanta GA 30303

Qualifications: 

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate    

  • Passionate about our mission  

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older 

  

  

Internship Focus:  

Our Atlanta-based team at ALSAC/St. Jude is passionate about engaging communities across Georgia in support of the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As an intern, you’ll be part of a dynamic, purpose-driven environment where your creativity, initiative, and ideas are valued. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, event planning, and donor engagement; all while helping to advance a cause that truly matters to families right here in our region. 

 

Responsibilities include:  

  • Coach and Support St. Jude Walk Fundraising Teams- Assist with onboarding new teams and maintaining engagement. Provide guidance, encouragement, and resources to help teams meet fundraising goals. 

  • Assist with Corporate and Family Team Kickoff Events- Help plan and execute kickoff meetings and events. Support relationship-building with corporate partners and family teams. 

  • Support Dream Home Campaign Milestone Events- Assist with event preparation, logistics, and volunteer coordination. Provide on-site support during milestone events and community activations. 

  • In-Kind Donation Coordination- Assist the area team by submitting and confirming in-kind donations. Help ensure timely acknowledgment and stewardship of in-kind contributors. 

  • Support Lead Staff to Execute the Heritage Gala - Assist with planning, logistics, and support for one of our signature fundraising events. 

Majors preferred: Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Social media, Business, Journalism, Strategy, Non-profit, Communications 

Skills preferred: Social media savvy, action-oriented, strong networking abilities, efficient and effective communicator
