Summer 2026 Accounting Intern

Your Role in Our Story: 

In essence, your role involves:

  • Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payments
  • Support month-end close activities including the assisting in the preparation of supporting schedules and workpapers 
  • Pull support for company audits and prepare documentation for SOPs 
  • Ad hoc projects as required  

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027 
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles 
  • Critical thinker with strong numerical skills who can articulate their thoughts and ideas clearly 
  • Good organizational, time-management, communication, and teamwork abilities 
  • Strong interest in the environmental commodity markets and energy transition, and you bring a proactive, resourceful, and positive attitude as well as a powerful work ethic 
  • Strong attention to detail with experience and comfort in Excel

Please note: this role is 100% in our NYC office

The hourly pay range for this position is $30-$40; however, hourly pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
