Our 10-week Summer Internship Program offers you the opportunity to work within our Accounting team, supporting the financial operations that drive client success.
As part of our Summer Internship Program cohort, you’ll participate in orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side by side with talented teams to learn about the business and contribute to meaningful initiatives that shape our financial reporting and client experience.

What you’ll do
Develop, maintain, and update accounting records for client assets
Assist in preparing financial statements, client reporting information, consultant reports, and other financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
Support Senior Accountants, Assistant Controllers, and Controllers with external audits for properties and portfolios
Coordinate and manage general accounting functions to ensure accuracy of ledger accounts and property financial statements
Assist with development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Maintain strong working relationships with portfolio and asset managers as part of the portfolio team
Communicate effectively with third-party property management accountants
Prepare monthly/quarterly distribution notices to clients and calculate advisory fees
Reconcile client working capital and tax/insurance escrow accounts monthly
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating by summer of 2027
Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
All majors welcome with an emphasis on Accounting
Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, organized, and flexible
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Accounting majors preferred
The salary range for this position is $35/hour.
