Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Manager of Insurance Reporting & Analytics to lead a cross-functional team supporting actuarial, accounting, and FP&A functions. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring alignment cross functionally. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analytics, a working knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience partnering with actuaries. They will also play a key role in audit readiness by working closely with internal and external auditors on critical audit items. This position includes direct management of one team member.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the Insurance Reporting & Analytics function, managing one direct report and collaborating across actuarial, accounting, and FP&A teams
  • Build and maintain analytical models to support pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting
  • Translate complex actuarial and financial data into executive-level reports and dashboards
  • Partner with actuaries to assess reserve adequacy as well as future rate setting
  • Apply accounting principles to validate assumptions and ensure financial data accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address critical audit items and ensure compliance
  • Ensure data integrity across systems and streamline reporting processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytics tools, workflows, and team capabilities

The annual starting salary for this position is between $85,000 - $120,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
