General Summary:
The Subpoena Clerk is responsible for providing clerical support to the General Claims Legal Department by reviewing, analyzing and responding to subpoenas and other document production requests directed to the Company. The Subpoena Clerk is routinely entrusted with highly confidential information and interacts with requestors and staff on a daily basis in a timely and confidential manner.
Hours
Monday-Friday, specific hours are subject to selected start time between 8am-9am pending supervisory approval.
Hybrid opportunity after training is completed (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Assisting in coordinating the workflow of subpoenas and other document production requests
Reviewing and analyzing incoming subpoenas and document production requests and preparing appropriate responses through review, collection and confirmation of necessary documents and information
Communicating and coordinating with other business units
Required Qualifications: Knowledge, skills & abilities, experience, minimum & desired education, certification and/or license requirements.
Ability to learn and work in various document and claim management systems including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and Outlook, and to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing written and verbal communications required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills required
Previous clerical experience in an insurance or legal environment is helpful
Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to handle multiple deadlines and manage time effectively
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
