What you do:
Under direction of the radiologist, utilizes equipment producing two/ three-dimensional high frequency sound waves to create diagnostic images of the human body for use in diagnosis of disease or organ malfunctions.
Participate with physicians in reading sonographs and making diagnostic judgments based on test results.
What you need:
Registered CPR BLS Certification, thru American Heart Association
Education: Must be currently enrolled in an AMA approved school of sonography or radiology
Experience: At least 6 months of clinical experience preferred
