Job Description
Job Description Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand scientific literature, including being able to identify study characteristics such as populations, interventions/exposures, comparators, and outcomes.
- Knowledge of different types of study designs and ability to identify study designs.
- Screen studies for evidence reviews by comparing literature to a set of inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Up to 20 hours per week; workload will fluctuate on weekly basis.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in TAMU graduate program.
- Experience with nutrition research or a related field (e.g., public health, epidemiology).
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
- Computer access.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to understand scientific literature related to nutrition and health.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability for critical thinking.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
