The Dell Power Plant has a student laborer position approved for 2026 for family members of current Dell Power Plant employees, who can provide proof of enrollment in, or who are returning to, a higher educational facility (e.g. university, college, or trade school) for the upcoming fall 2026 semester as a full-time student.  Applicant selection to fill the summer position at the Dell Power Plant will be determined by the employee’s Dell Power Plant seniority.  Preference will also be given to dependent sons and daughters of our current employees. 

The summer position was created because there is a need for extra help at the plant in addition to providing a means of assistance, through wages paid, for the summer employee to further their education.  As with any position, attendance and being on time is an important requirement. 

Primary responsibilities could include the following:

• Painting
• Cleaning
• Manual work as assigned
• Office task

Applicants should:

• Be at least 18 years old on the day they report to work
• Encouraged to apply by April 13,2026
• Attach documentation of current high school or college full time attendance. (e.g. current year high or college transcript).
• Attach documentation of enrollment or reenrollment for the fall 2026 semester (e.g. paid receipt from college, acceptance letter, class schedule, etc.). If not available at the time of application, it must be provided to Human Resources before employment begins.
