  • Based at our Northside Clinical Unit office within The Prince Charles Hospital, Chermside Northside - Medical School - University of Queensland

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high level support for various learning experiences, clinical placements, and assessments, ensuring they are appropriately scheduled and coordinated.

  • Provide effective and efficient administration to support clinical placements, student field trips and workshops.

  • Prepare and manage correspondence and enquiries, by referring for action or advice and seek timely follow-up and resolution of issues as required.

  • Provide administrative support to the academic team, including updating and distributing teaching materials and information

About You  

  • Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service.

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply a range of rules, policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills.

  • High-level computer skills with experience in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and web-based educational platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement.

  • Relevant experience in student and/or academic administration in a higher education institution or similar environment will be highly regarded.

  • Travel and out of hours work: Attendance at programs and/or functions outside normal business hours may be required and will be remunerated in accordance with standard University policy.

This position may require some travel; the individual must be willing to travel as needed particularly between any of the University’s local campuses or locations.

The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, mandatory immunisations.
