Student Assistant – Project, Business and Digital-Transformation Office

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Assistant to join our Project, Business and Digital-Transformation Office within GPD (Global Pharmaceutical Development). In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience in a highly collaborative pharmaceutical environment where projects, business processes, digital solutions, and knowledge management come together to support successful drug development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project, Business and Digital-Transformation-Office, including document management, and maintenance of project and knowledge repositories.
  • Actively support SharePoint‑based collaboration, including structuring content, maintaining knowledge spaces, and contributing to effective knowledge management practices within a pharmaceutical development context.
  • Contribute to clear and professional communication within pharmaceutical development, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely follow‑up.
  • Assist scientists with data verification and analysis
  • Work closely with a team of student assistants to support operational tasks, including laboratory restocking, archiving etc.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree programme such as Communication and IT, IT, Communication, or a related field (studies combining IT and Communication are a strong advantage).
  • Strong interest in digital ways of working, and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Experience or strong interest in SharePoint, collaboration platforms, and structured knowledge management.
  • Competence in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and data analysis is an advantage.
  • Proactive, structured, and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross‑functional, international teams.
