Student Assistant (Early Careers)

Working hours will typically be around 20 hours per week and the role is based in Copenhagen.

The position will offer sufficient flexibility for you to concentrate on lectures and exams but will also require flexibility during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

As a student assistant in this team, you will experience a unique combination of exposure to the Maersk Ocean business as well as to industry financials and drivers.

The role implies a variety of tasks all of which centered on performance management and reporting for decision making to senior stakeholders.

Key tasks:

  • Analysis and deep dives into our financials and business in general
  • Developing and automating the tools and financial models  
  • Supporting the team in the monthly and quarterly forecast processes
  • Communicating insights and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Developing presentations material on financial and business performance
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis as required by internal stakeholder network
  • Undertaking project-based analyses to strengthen internal processes and identify profitability opportunities

Danish language is not required. English is our working language also in the office so a high level of fluency in spoken and written English is required.

To be considered for this position, it is a requirement that you are a student at a Danish university.
