Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for a Structural and Payload Design Engineer Intern to join our team in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Boeing has offices in Türkiye in Ankara and Istanbul, and an Engineering and Technology Center and Global Operations Center in Istanbul.

An engineering intern, you will observe concept layouts, preliminary design, and final design of interior components and have hands on experience to learn how to use CATIA assemblies and model‑based definition (Seat MDB) to integrate seats/suites, check interferences, and deliver clear installation definitions to manufacturing. You’ll assist engineers, rotate through key workflows, and build practical experience with ENOVIA/PLM and supplier/electrical drawing reviews. You will observe engineering and design activities associated with certifying Boeing commercial aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills; collaborative team mindset.

  • Exposure to any 3D CAD (CATIA V5 preferred) via coursework or projects.

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus for detail

  • Strong attention to detail; willingness to learn PLM practices and follow documented processes.

  • Curious about aircraft interiors/seat integration and eager to learn.

  • Positive, self‑starter attitude with strong follow‑through.

  • Integrity and professionalism in all work.

  • Goal‑ and results‑driven; delivers on commitments.

  • Customer‑focused, attentive to user and manufacturing needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Studied for a relevant degree preferably Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering

  • Students graduated with a GPA:3.0 and higher.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Work Authorization:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Türkiye. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in Türkiye. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
