Structured Products Sales Program Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a detail-oriented Securities Sales Program Analyst for our Structured Products Sales team responsible for the distribution of Fixed Income Products to our Asset Backed Finance Sales investor base. Analyst will play a crucial role in streamlining and centralizing operational functions for the broader sales team.  


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Securities Sales to meet the clients objectives

  • Review issues, policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables

  • Receive direction from a manager

  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, compliance, and risk management requirements for the Securities Sales area

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal and external clients

  • Meticulous regarding all details, adaptive to a fast-paced environment and able to perform under pressure with high motivation and energy

  • Participate in comprehensive reviews including report preparation and analysis of findings, and propose recommendations for a fundamental impact on future product quality

  • Determine appropriate course of remedial action, conduct investigative steps to fully identify the issues, and research product information, terms, conditions, or contracts

  • Review complex transactions, process gaps, or issue resolution that require in-depth evaluation and special handling

  • Contribute to the resolution of highly sensitive client inquiries


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous trading floor, middle office, or back-office trade support experience

  • Experience in Securities Sales

  • Demonstrated knowledge of securities products and services

  • Knowledge of Structured products

  • Meticulous regarding all details, adaptive to a fast-paced environment and able to perform under pressure with high motivation and energy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Familiarity with COBAM – new client onboarding and trading accounts (especially these new extended settle accounts that take forever)

  • Familiarity with Credit related items – limit increases, verify documentation

  • Familiarity with client documentation including but not limited to chasing QIBs, expiring docs, beneficial owner / tax docs, chasing addresses for the mailing team, etc.

  • Familiarity with Pricing – month end marks / challenges

  • Familiarity with ECN enablement’s such as Bloomberg and Tradeweb

  • CID account clean up related to CTM auto allocation efforts  

  • Settlement related issues- trade fails, wire payments (TBA), money only fails, directing wire SSI updates to Client Maintenance from TBA Cash Settlements, having our trades updated to reflect new coupons/factors

  • Establish and maintain safekeeping accounts


Job Expectations:

  • Registration for FINRA SIE must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date, if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$90,000.00 - $150,000.00
