Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Strategy& (Senior) Associate (m/f/d). What if it was you?
Your mission: As part of our growing Strategy& Luxembourg team, you will support leading financial institutions and corporates on strategic and operational challenges across the sector. You will work closely with experienced consultants on engagements ranging from operating model redesign and performance improvement to regulatory transformation and growth strategy.
While the role is primarily geared towards generalist strategy consulting within financial services, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to projects where AI, data and emerging technologies can tangibly enhance decision‑making, efficiency and client outcomes.
Be a part of our team where you will:
- Work on strategic and operational projects for financial institutions, including regulatory, process, transformation, and organizational topics;
- Conduct research, analysis, and structured problem‑solving to build clear insights and recommendations;
- Support the design and assessment of operating models, governance structures, and performance‑improvement initiatives;
- Analyse trends in financial services, regulation, technology and innovation to identify client opportunities;
- Translate complex concepts into simple, actionable messages for senior stakeholders;
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary PwC teams to deliver integrated solutions;
- Participate in client workshops, presentations, and business‑development activities;
- For candidates with AI/Data skills) Contribute to engagements exploring how data, analytics, automation and AI can generate measurable value;
- Contribute to internal knowledge building within Strategy& Luxembourg, including FS and AI‑related topics.

- Hold a university degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data/Tech, or a related field (Master’s preferred);
- Have 2–4+ years of experience in financial services or consulting (regulatory, risk, operations, transformation, strategy, performance improvement, etc.);
- Bring strong analytical, structured problem‑solving and communication capabilities;
- Understand how financial institutions work and are motivated to solve complex business challenges;
- (Nice to have) Have familiarity or hands‑on exposure to AI/ML, data analytics or automation concepts - tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI are a plus, not a requirement;
- Are curious about how emerging technologies can enhance strategy and operations;
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences;
- Enjoy working in collaborative, cross‑functional teams;
- Are comfortable engaging with clients, partners and ecosystem players;
- Bring a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude in a fast‑paced environment;
- Are fluent in English; French or German is an asset.
