Position: Strategic Transformation Officer
Report to: China President
The successful candidate for the Strategic Transformation Officer, will support the HH - China Market and the Leadership Team in all aspects of commercial strategy development and execution. This leader:
- Identifies and leads company level strategic initiatives, leveraging agile approaches, to drive transformation of China Commercial Operation to deliver stronger business results by creating an integrated, differentiated experience for customers. Develops and executes strategic planning roadmap to drive alignment toward the China market strategy, roadmap.
- Lead annual business plan process to ensure all functions and business units are aligned with the strategic intent is translated through to results.
- Ensures strategic life cycle management of all products to our top customers and patients as their business models evolve in accordance with the external health care environment and ensure the effective resource allocation.
- Develop and lead MKT excellence to build MKT capability to ensure the business transformation and success.
The position will involve regular interaction with China Leadership Team members, global executives and numerous other executives across our organization and external audiences. Skill sets utilized to perform these responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Effectively leads new ways of working in a large matrix organization
- Inspires a team of Subject Matter Experts to provide appropriate diligence to the assessment of the external environment
- Leads others effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with frequently changing priorities
- Recruits and develops key talent to keep pace with the continuously evolving health care environment
- Ensures credibility with the leadership teams as a trusted source for interpreting changes in the health care environment
- Demonstrates exceptional collaboration, resilience and interpersonal skills
- Actively develops a diverse and inclusive team, enhances our culture and supports a psychologically safe environment through active engagement and development of all team members
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree and above
- Preferred: Advanced degree in business, health policy, health system or a related discipline
Required:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical commercial – including Sales, Marketing, Strategy or Operations
- Strong knowledge of the evolving healthcare environment, including political, regulatory and health care reform issues
- Excellent influencing, organizational, communication and collaboration skills
- Effective project management skills
- Exceptional business acumen and analytical skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
