Roles and Responsibilities
Select strategic suppliers for any NPI (New Product Introduction) supplier transfers, ensuring readiness to deliver targeted business requirements (quality, fulfillment, cost, and cash) per program milestones, in collaboration with supplier management, supply chain, and engineering teams.
Proactively de-risk supplier base, from identifying the risk to executing the mitigation plan, in partnership with the MICT business team.
Drive product cost down by 10% year over year ($2M approximate annual cost out) through supplier negotiation and design change ideas, partnering with engineering and manufacturing with a total cost mindset and support logistic cost out initiative.
Support supplier quality, ensuring supplier compliance with FDA, EHS, transportation and other regulatory and reputation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 4years’ experience in Engineering, Sourcing, Operations or Supply Chain.
Excellent business/financial acumen, ability to act as business partner through horizontal teams with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative and effective way.
Ability to drive long strategic partnerships with suppliers and demonstrated experience in optimizing supplier base performance- Quality, Fulfillment, Cost, Cash and Contract.
Willingness to consistently work flexible hours to accommodate needs of global customers and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
