Job Summary: This National Guard position is for a AIR BATTLE MANAGER (INSTRUCTOR) - Title 32, Position Description Number D2350000 and is part of the WI 128 ACS, Wisconsin Air National Guard.

Major Duties:

  • As a AIR BATTLE MANAGER (INSTRUCTOR) - Title 32, GS-2101-12, you will plan, organize, evaluate, and train activities of the Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) mission which includes the Air Battle Manager (ABM) and Weapons Director (WD) career fields. This position is required to maintain qualification as an instructor/evaluator/trainer for ABM or WD. Provides training for advanced instructor techniques, student assessment, and evaluation criteria. This position also supervises any combination of the following programs: Training (DOT), Standards and Evaluation (CCV), Weapons and Tactics (DOK), and Mission Training Planning (MTP). Serves as an ABM or WD as a CRC crew member performing mission operations duties in support of combat, peacetime, humanitarian and Personal Recovery (PR) missions; to perform unit air operations command/control and related staff support duties.

Qualifications: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training with routine and non-routine preflight, in-flight, post-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions. Receives, interprets, extracts, and disseminates relevant data for mission planning or execution. Experience coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems. *For positions requiring supervisory functions; experience which included responsibility for the supervision and management of personnel.
