The Role:

The Strategic Program Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Hitachi Vantara Federal’s go-to-market strategy by driving the operational, analytical, and programmatic elements of our partner and revenue ecosystem. This role serves as a central coordination point across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure partner programs, data workflows, reporting, and GTM initiatives run with accuracy, transparency, and efficiency. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with program discipline and cross-functional influence to enhance visibility, improve decision-making, and accelerate revenue and partner success.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Partner Program Administration
  • Track partner tier/level requirements (Elite, Premier)
  • Administer MDF (Marketing Development Funds): submission, approval, usage, and ROI tracking.
  • Manage/reconcile partner budget
  • Manage certification compliance
  • Track incentives (rebates, volume discount) qualification and reconcile payouts with finance/sales operations
  • Manage contracting and onboarding of new partners – get DARA in place, set up partner in NetSuite & Salesforce, issue welcome package, ensure onboarding of partner contacts
  • Manage partner contacts and lists for tracking and outreach in HubSpot/SFDC
  • Align with Hitachi Vantara on partner program updates and resources to apply to HVF partner program
  1. Reporting & Analytics
  • Own partner dashboards (pipeline, bookings, certifications, marketing ROI, co-sell metrics).
  • Aggregate, refine, and distribute data from multiple systems (GovWin, Leadership Connect, Salesforce, and internal tools) to sales teams and leadership.
  • Track partner and marketing/ISR pipeline contribution: sourced vs. influenced vs. fulfilled.
  • Maintain deal registration process and accuracy in NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Lead management/flow with Hitachi Vantara to ensure we are receiving leads generated by HV that should be assigned to federal AEs.
  • Validate forecast numbers against distributor/VAR data.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, and Marketing to align reporting, analytics, and goals.
  • Go beyond reporting → analyze data to identify insights, trends, and gaps; present conclusions with recommendations to leadership.
  1. Campaign & Event Operations
  • Support execution of joint campaigns (event logistics, webinar setup, list pulls, follow-up tracking).
  • Pull account and contact data for campaign outreach
  • Track MDF-funded activities and ensure proof-of-performance is captured.
  • Provide ROI analysis on events and campaigns.
  • Tools & Systems Management
  • Be the superuser for NetSuite, Salesforce, partner portal, GovWin, leadership connect, across the GTM team.
  • Train ISRs, and field sales on how to use tools effectively.
  • Ensure data hygiene across systems.
  • Identify and manage sales and partner processes that drive visibility and efficiencies like the IT Atlas, win/loss reports.
  1. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the “glue” across Sales Ops, Marketing, Finance, and Legal for partner-related and GTM tasks.
  • Manage central calendars for partners and the GTM team (campaigns, enablement sessions, blitz days, events).
  • Document and circulate meeting notes, actions, and deadlines.
  1. Communications
  • Support outreach to smaller partners to supplement team and ensure regular touchpoints to all priority partners – remind on training and certification, invite to events
  • Lead weekly GTM meetings — set agendas, ensure accountability on action items, track cross-functional alignment.
  • Create decks and tracking in preparation for standing calls i.e. Monthly GTM call, Bi-weekly Carahsoft forecasting calls
  • Create templates for QBRs and planning meetings with Elite and priority partners

What You Will Bring To The Team:

  • Program management discipline - organized, detail-oriented, proactive.
  • Strong analytical mindset — able to not just report data, but interpret and guide strategy.
  • Excellent communicator — written, verbal, and presentation skills to executive level.
  • Cross-functional influencer — able to work across sales, marketing, ops, and partners without formal authority.
  • Federal GTM knowledge — familiarity with contracting, sales cycles, and partner ecosystem a plus.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with data integration tools or ETL processes
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
    • Working knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., Excel macros, VBA, or Python) to streamline data analysis and reporting.
