ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Strategic Capabilities Manager, you will lead key initiatives within Global Procurement to drive process transformation, governance, and capability development. You will ensure global procurement controls across all business units, including contract governance, pricing, fixed assets, and audits, while driving process harmonization aligned with company strategy. In this role, you will oversee the Procurement Capability Building program in partnership with Human Resources and Learning and Development, delivering annual training strategies across functional and organizational areas. You will manage the operational support of Procurements Digital tools including SAP Business Networks, Coupa, Ultron, and eFat.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Supplier Engagement & Collaboration processes ensuring effective and efficient connectivity to our suppliers (e.g., SAP Business Networks, Coupa).

  • Support global Procurement controls and associated programs for all BUs, including contract governance, pricing, fixed assets management, and audit processes.

  • Drive Procurement process transformation to deliver optimized and harmonized policies and processes globally in support of the company strategy and in alignment with Procurement Digitization.

  • Own Capability Building program within Procurement, ensuring coordination and collaboration with Learning & Development Human Resources team.

  • Develop robust annual training strategy to deliver training programs (in-person and virtually), which include controls, functional specific skills, cross-functional overviews, and organizational areas of interest.

  • Manage relationships with Business Intelligence (BI) providers, continue to expand Procurement knowledge of BI resources, and leverage BI resources to deliver targeted trainings and industry updates.

  • Provide operational support to both internal and external users for Procurement’s digital tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP Business Networks, Ultron, eFat, and future tools).

  • Support the development of team members through training opportunities, coaching and performance management practices including conducting annual performance reviews and management succession and development activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor of Administration or Bachelor of Science degree

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with Procurement, Finance, IT/BPT, or Supply Chain

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Master of Business Administration degree

  • Results Oriented/ proactive to gain depth in procurement and grow.

  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration. Has successfully led cross functional programs and proven ability to influence senior leaders in the organization. Ability to successfully influence and lead through other team members who are not direct reports.

  • Excellent at using different mediums (Powerpoint, Sharepoint, etc) to organize information efficiently in order to communicate in an effective and creative way.

  • Proven executional and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to set realistic goals and timetables using sound judgment to execute projects.  Tightly manage timelines and provide timely status updates.

  • Ability to develop and lead global strategies and programs; think and act globally and regionally.

  • Passionate about people development and change management.

  • Experienced in creating and delivering training programs.

  • Technical depth in procurement best practices and systems.

  • Experience with Coupa and/or SAP

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full Time position, standard business hours Monday through Friday

  • Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

  • Up to 10% Travel Required

  • This role is not eligible for relocation

For internal associates: This position is grade L.
