As the Strategic Business Partner for Pharma, you will be embedded from the Global Digital Hub (GDH) into the LAB leadership, serving as the LAB's unified face towards the entire Pharma network. Digital Content & Services Lab (the LAB), is the go to place for content production, campaign execution and digital services. It was created to answer the need from affiliate and global teams to deliver high quality content continuously - at scale and speed - while enabling increased cost efficiencies.
Reporting to the Head of the Global Digital Hub, you will ensure that Pharma stakeholders across commercial, medical, and affiliate teams have a single point of contact—translating their needs into the GDH's delivery engine while driving end-to-end excellence in content and campaign execution.
Operating as part of the LAB leadership, you will drive the engagement model for Pharma stakeholders globally, ensuring that the LAB's evolving offerings meet current and future commercial and medical needs. You will coordinate service performance, collaborate with external delivery partners, and liaise with finance stakeholders to ensure accurate data and reporting while working closely with chapter leads to ensure the optimal delivery of respective services.
To excel in this role, you will lead the bridge between strategy and execution through the following responsibilities:
Primary Interface: Serve as the main link between the Global Digital Hub and the Pharma network, aligning global/regional expectations and integrating business needs into delivery models.
Service Translation: Convert complex business requirements from commercial and medical teams into actionable service solutions delivered via the LAB.
Functional Leadership: Guide Service Delivery Leads on priorities and quality, while collaborating with managers on performance and talent growth.
Operational Oversight: Coordinate with external partners for quality execution and support finance activities, including tracking delivery data and cost tables.
Strategic Contribution: Shape the evolution of LAB offerings and product direction to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and digital content ambitions.
Stakeholder Excellence: Maintain transparent communication and reporting to build credibility across global, regional, and affiliate teams.
Continuous Innovation: Foster a culture of improvement by integrating feedback and emerging technologies, such as AI, into daily operations.
We are looking for a strategic professional who thrives in complex, digital-first environments and possesses the following qualifications:
Experienced Leader: 10+ years in service delivery, digital operations, or business partnering, ideally within life sciences.
Experience in client facing roles within a consulting firm is a plus.
Experience supporting or working in a shared services environment is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Digital, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with digital content platforms, marketing technology, and a solid understanding of AI adoption within pharma business processes.
Stakeholder Expert: Proven track record of engaging global stakeholders and coordinating external partner relationships through strong interpersonal skills.
Results-Oriented: Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive governance, and connect digital operations to tangible business outcomes.
