About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing projects from initiation through completion. This customer-facing role ensures alignment between internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractual obligations. The Project Manager leads project planning, resource coordination, subcontractor engagement, progress reporting, and issue resolution, ensuring that deliverables meet quality, schedule, and cost requirements. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity.
 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver numerous large‑scale, complex projects across multiple portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Lead cross‑functional project teams—Market Vertical, Product Management, Engineering, Testing, Legal, and others—through all phases of the product development lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain development roadmaps and detailed project schedules, ensuring ownership and accountability for all milestones.

  • Conduct stakeholder negotiations and facilitate decision‑making across diverse business units.

  • Request and review resource demand and allocation for projects, programs, and portfolios; communicate impacts related to capacity and prioritization.

  • Oversee all phases of projects within the Product Development process, maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform data analysis related to project tasks to support planning, tracking, and reporting.

  • Define key performance parameters and create regular variance and progress reports.

  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, schedule variances, and mitigation options to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Partner with Engineering Resource Managers to secure necessary resources and resolve issues impacting scope, schedule, or delivery.

  • Identify and recommend improvements to project management processes, procedures, workflows, and governance practices.

  • Coordinate resolution of complex project issues by guiding teams through root‑cause analysis, solution evaluation, and risk assessment.

  • Collaborate with IT management and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment, remove roadblocks, and drive shared results.

  • Manage concurrent projects of varying scale, adapting quickly to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of PMO or equivalent project management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business, or related field—or equivalent experience.

  • Project governance certification required (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.

  • Demonstrated process improvement experience.

  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.

  • Strong data analysis skills to support project decisions and reporting.

  • Advanced understanding of resource allocation and capacity planning.

  • Proven experience coordinating team workflow in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to resolve project issues and mitigate impacts.

  • Strong project delivery skills, including planning, risk management, milestone management, and resource coordination.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage rapidly changing priorities.

  • Experience collaborating across IT management and functional groups to achieve shared outcomes.

  • Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organization, project planning, time management, and change management capabilities.

  • Advanced problem-solving experience, including diagnosing complex issues, identifying solutions, and facilitating decision‑making.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentations, documentation, and meeting facilitation.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive leadership, internal teams, customers, and cross‑functional groups.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $115,400 - $192,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $121,200 - $201,900. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
