Purpose:
Athene is seeking an experienced analytics professional who can turn data into insights and create compelling stories that impact marketing and distribution strategy.Accountabilities:
Build relationships with key stakeholders across Athene to understand key initiatives and goals, and collaboratively establish success metrics and measurement plans.
Serve as lead for Marketing analysis and performance measurement by creating and evaluating core metrics and performance indicators to understand the value of marketing and distribution investments.
Develop data visualizations and dashboards to support self-service reporting for peers and stakeholders.
Create and present materials that translate complex data analysis into easy-to understand stories with persuasive recommendations for all levels of management.
Provide actionable overall market and customer insights through stories and strategies to address key strategic questions to peers and leadership.
Create recommendations for audience targeting and segmentation to optimize marketing spend and activity.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges around data management and insights.
Ability to collaborate with team members to generate ideas and recommendations that combine analytical, marketing, and business thinking.
Creative mindset to ideate new experiments and campaigns based on a data-driven approach.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities or projects.
Strong understanding of data governance to ensure best practices are followed relating to business intelligence deployment, delivery, and security.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or Business) or equivalent required; Master’s degree desired.
5+ years analytics or related relevant experience required.
Advanced analytics skills including data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, forecasting, and other advanced techniques.
Experience with data manipulation, including joining and analyzing large data sets.
Experience in data mining using common languages such as SQL, R, or Python and analytical tools such as Alteryx.
Experience incorporating AI, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude, into Analytics workflows.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or another data visualization tool.
Expertise in various marketing analytics tools and measures including Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and traditional and digital media performance.
Experience in studying data to evaluate the performance of marketing activity to refine marketing campaigns and optimize return on investment.
Understanding of data storage and warehousing capabilities.
Skilled in communicating with audiences at all levels.
Proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and PowerPoint.
