An exciting opportunity is available for a Store Manager to lead our Salvos Stores Karratha team. This role is ideal for a hands-on retail leader who thrives in a small team environment, enjoys autonomy, and values community connection.
Reporting to the Area Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position based in Karratha, WA, offering stability, meaningful work, and a healthy work-life balance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Store Manager, you will:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the store.
Drive sales and surplus targets.
Manage stock flow, pricing and visual merchandising.
Lead, coach and support a small team of staff and volunteers.
Manage rosters, budgets and wage costs to keep the store running smoothly
Build strong connections with the Karratha community.
Work closely with the Area Manager while managing the store independently.
This is a practical leadership role where you’ll be supported by a wider network while having the autonomy to run your store effectively.
ABOUT YOU
You will bring:
Retail leadership experience (essential)
Strong customer service, communication and people leadership skills
The ability to work independently in a regional location
Experience with Workday HCM (highly regarded but not essential)
A positive, open-minded attitude
Alignment with The Salvation Army’s values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity
