Stewarding SUPERVISOR

About the Role:

The Stewarding Supervisor plays a key role in supporting Food & Beverage operations by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchen, outlet, and back-of-house areas. This position supervises the daily activities of the stewarding team, supports Culinary and F&B operations, and ensures full compliance with Four Seasons standards, HACCP guidelines, and local regulations.

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise daily stewarding operations across all Food & Beverage and kitchen areas.
  • Lead, coordinate, and support the stewarding team during shifts, ensuring efficiency and operational readiness.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in kitchens, storage areas, dishwashing stations, and back of house.
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP procedures, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Culinary and F&B teams to support smooth operational flow and service requirements.
  • Organize daily tasks, shift assignments, and preparation of work areas before, during, and after service.
  • Monitor the proper use, upkeep, and cleanliness of equipment, machinery, and stewarding supplies.
  • Support inventory control, stock monitoring, and ordering processes for the stewarding department.
  • Act proactively to identify and resolve operational or hygiene-related issues.
  • Assist in on-the-job training, performance development, and motivation of the stewarding team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment.

What You Bring:

  • 2–3 years of experience in a stewarding or back-of-house role, preferably within luxury hotels or structured food service operations.
  • Solid knowledge of HACCP standards, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on and operational approach.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Must have the rights to work in Italy
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
