Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Airframe Referent Engineer (f/m) to join our Customer Services Department within the STC Solutions Programme Cabin Systems & Airframe Engineering team based in Toulouse, France.
STC* Solutions Programme is an integrated team, human sized and colocalized, with Engineering, Airworthiness, Project Management, Quality, Procurement, Logistics,... which values the One Team, One Goal.
We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB*, ICA* and kits) certified through Airbus STC, to airlines and lessors for the modification of their in-service aircrafts, through our dedicated : Team, Processes, Suppliers and Means (dedicated Kit Factory).
Integrated in the STC Solutions Programme Cabin Systems & Airframe Engineering team, the STC Airframe Referent Engineer works in close collaboration with Systems Design Engineers (Architecture, Mechanical and Electrical System Installation, Wiring Diagrams), Cabin Design Engineers, Certification Engineers, and Project Managers.

Your challenges:
As STC Airframe Referent Engineer, you will work within the Operation department and report hierarchically to the Head Of STC Cabin Systems & Airframe Engineering, and operationally to the STC Airframe & Systems Installation Team Leader.
In the frame of Cabin and/or Cabin Systems upgrades projects on various programs (A320, A330, A380, A350), you will be responsible for following missions:
Be a referent on the ATA53 for AIRBUS STC activities. Typically:
Structural Reinforcement (for connectivity antenna),
New cabin element interfaces (Floor Structure modification, new fittings…)
Realize Airframe and also some Mechanical System Installation Tasks and Activities.
These tasks cover activities from the customer requirements to the kitting needs including:
3D and 2D for Airframe modification
3D and 2D for Mechanical System Installation (typically plates, brackets and equipment racks)
Technical Repercussion Sheet
Installation Instruction (Service Bulletin)
Technical assistance during working party
Be in interface with transnational AIRBUS team if needed
Follow all its deliverables and give feedback of the “On time / on Cost / On Quality” to the STC Project Manager and STC Airframe & Systems Installation Team Leader,
Follow engineering subcontracting activities if any
Provide support to quotation team,
Provide support to aircraft in service (exemple: repair solution)

The STC Project Management team,
The STC Ordering Office and STC kitting Office

Required hard skills
Educated to Master of Science level (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline,
Expertise in Airframe Engineering, and development of exclusive solutions (among ATA 52-53-56),
Know-How in General Regulation Requirements - CS25 & Export Control,
Know-How and Experience in Aircraft Modifications & Upgrades is a plus,
Knowledge in Technical Project Management,
Airbus aircraft general knowledge is mandatory,
Knowledge in PART 21J DOA fundamentals is a plus,
Knowledge in Part 21G POA fundamentals is a plus,
Knowledge in PART 145 fundamentals is a plus,
Know-How in configuration management,
Language Skills: Autonomous level in English and negotiation level in French,
Know-How in Risk and Opportunity management,
Understanding of industrial processes.
This role may involve some worldwide travels for business– typically once a year.
Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
