Salesforce is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, to support the organization’s strategy, growth, and operational excellence. The role is opened within our EMEA Finance hub located in Dublin. Primary responsibility will be to manage the statutory and local compliance support for some of our entities across Europe.
The role will be part of a dynamic group of highly skilled professionals having the responsibility of 30+ entities within a very fast paced and challenging business environment. Beyond your operational responsibilities, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership to continuously enhance our processes through innovation, as well as providing a high level of support to our Business Partners.
What you will do:
· Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements for selected countries, leveraging our standard operating procedures and our systems to execute the process in a consistent and effective way, securing filings within the agreed timeline.
· Work with Controllership share service center teams managing the US GAAP and local GAAP integrated system of records as well as country controllers located in countries.
· Collaborate with internal business partners from International Tax team, Treasury and Legal teams.
· Document formally all technical accounting positions supporting the statutory financial statements.
· Work with external advisors and statutory auditors preparing and providing required documentation and explanation to deliver compliant and audited set of financial statements.
· Prepare statutory year over year flux analysis to present to the country controllers.
· Support Indirect taxes filings preparation and reconciliations.
· Monitor the regulatory landscape for countries to anticipate changes
· Support country controllers with ad-hoc requests from country business leaders, work councils or authorities.
· Support ad-hoc projects, such as process improvements ot system implementation.
Who you are:
· CPA or recognized equivalent qualification required
· 3+ years of experience relevant to the role
· Experience working in a fast-paced Multinational environment for a publicly traded company or audit firm.
· Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
· Experience in managing local compliance obligations, as statutory accounts filings and Taxes filings (VAT)
· Experience in working in a multi-ledger environment
· Experience managing SOX compliance programs and other country equivalents.
· Experience in major ERP and associated applications and interfaces
· Results oriented, team player, willing to work in a fast growing and challenging environment
· Hands-on, decisive and fast worker
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
· Be a catalyst for change and able to respond quickly to various requests.
· English spoken and writing is required, another European language is a plus.
