About the Role

We are seeking an experienced State Rural Real Estate Manager – Western Australia to lead Elders’ Farmland Agency business across the state.

This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving transaction performance, market presence, capability uplift and strategic growth across Western Australia’s diverse rural and pastoral property markets.

You will work closely with senior agents, state and national leadership, and key clients to strengthen Elders’ position as a leading advisor in complex and high‑value rural property transactions.

Key Responsibilities

State Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and execute the Western Australian Farmland Agency strategy in alignment with national rural property objectives
  • Provide market insight, intelligence and forecasting to support informed strategic decision‑making
  • Identify emerging opportunities across agribusiness, institutional investment, aggregation and succession‑driven sales
     

Commercial & Transaction Performance

  • Drive listing quality, pipeline discipline and transaction outcomes across the WA rural portfolio
  • Support major and complex rural property transactions, including high‑value and multi‑asset sales
  • Improve consistency of sales process, pricing strategy and client advisory standards
  • Monitor and manage financial performance, sales metrics and commercial outcomes
     

People, Capability & Standards

  • Lead, coach and develop senior rural agents and emerging talent
  • Lift capability across negotiation, client advisory, market analysis and transaction execution
  • Build a high‑performance culture grounded in accountability, professionalism and market credibility
     

Client & Market Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with key landholders, agribusiness clients, corporates and industry stakeholders
  • Represent Elders Farmland Agency across Western Australia’s rural and agricultural communities
  • Drive collaboration across Elders’ broader agribusiness, water, livestock and advisory services
     

About You

You are a commercially minded rural real estate leader with strong transaction experience and deep credibility in agricultural property markets.

You will bring:

  • Senior experience in rural real estate, farmland agency or agribusiness property advisory
  • Strong understanding of Western Australian agricultural and pastoral property markets
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence experienced professionals
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and client advisory capability
  • Strategic mindset with a practical, outcomes‑focused approach
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism and market reputation
  • Current real estate licence (or ability to obtain in WA) and driver’s licence
