This role requires associates to be in-office at least 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Summary
The Technology Business Enablement Staff VP is responsible for driving the strategy and operational excellence of core products and services that will play a pivotal role in bridging business objectives and technology solutions to achieve business growth. Critical to this role is the ability to build valued partnerships to execute successfully on operational excellence that impacts the bottom line. This leader will enable the continuous transformation and optimization of our technology landscape, ensuring stability, scalability, and innovation.
Position Responsibilities
Reports to Chief Technology Business Enablement Officer. This leader is will drive defining strategic direction, building organizational capability, driving continuous improvement, and delivering tangible value to the top line through technology in the healthcare marketplace. Leading through Engineering Excellence with seamless and standard end to end processes and partner across DPAIO and to drive more efficiencies, streamline operations. Business automation is crucial as we target hundreds of millions in cost efficiencies by eliminating manual and error prone and outdated, slow processes. This role is also critical to lead the transformation for DPAIO TBEO organization, including changing culture, driving agile ways of working, product lifecycle management, and bringing competitive edge. This leader also should have a passion for people, career development and growth and to be able to look to the future of the enterprise.
The successful leader will have strong functional breadth and understanding of a massive systems infrastructure intertwined with shared dependencies. In addition to operational expertise, s/he will also bring strategic vision for emerging technology and the aptitude to envision future technology needs to support the growth trajectory. ‘Through Technology we will transform our business to fuel growth, streamline health plan operations and drive superior health outcomes.’ This will be accomplished by simplifying the core, transformation, and growth - strategies (process, platforms and tools) to elevate member, provider, broker, employer, and associate experiences.
This leader will start out with about 20 people in the team, and increasing to at least 200 people in the upcoming 6 months.

Position responsibilities:
▪ Serves as a strategic technology liaison between the company and our functions
▪ Incorporate emerging technologies to ensure technological advancements continue
▪ Create a strategic, systematic plan to improve technological processes that create operational efficiencies
▪ Identify areas of risk and take corrective steps, including timely escalation, to raise stakeholder awareness and drive risk mitigation action
▪ Identify and drive action for continuous improvement and cost efficiency
▪ Ensure staffing models to support current and future capacity planning needs, including both internal and external resources
▪ Provide operational and financial planning, direction and thought leadership to the Enterprise IT team
▪ Ensure customer satisfaction through IT operational excellence and the delivery of high-performance solutions; and
▪ Executive, stakeholder, and organization communication of vision, strategy, operational plans and performance statuses
Position Requirements
▪ Bachelor’s degree in eng, computer science, or related field required
▪ 15+ years of IT leadership, managing large global organizations, and implementation and change management
▪ Possess strong knowledge of business partnership, including with executive leaders in the company. Business goals and tech strategies to enable.
▪ Experience working successfully in a matrix organization and proven capability in financial management and successful operational excellence
▪ Strong experience and understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, audit and controls
▪ Must demonstrate an excellent understanding of the IT value proposition and how IT can enable business growth
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
▪ Proven experience in healthcare IT solutions and pre-sales participation of IT enabled solution
▪ Master’s level degree preferred
