The Identity Engine Enrichment team is a vertical within LiveRamp’s Identity Engine product. The team builds systems that allow customers to configure customized identity resolution rules and algorithms on their first-party data. We own the enrichment workflows that enhance customer datasets with trusted third-party data, enabling improved analytics, segmentation, and targeting across known channels.
We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead Manager to lead the Identity Engine Enrichment team. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical ownership, people management, and strategic execution. You will drive the design and delivery of scalable, privacy-safe data enrichment workflows.
Act as a hands-on technical leader for the Identity Engine Enrichment team, contributing to system design, critical code paths, and complex problem-solving.
Review code, set engineering standards, and uphold best practices for quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
Lead and contribute to proofs of concept for new approaches, evaluating effectiveness and guiding adoption into production systems.
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex engineering and operational issues.
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, coaching, and performance management.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous learning.
Work closely with Identity Engine teams and other areas to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Clearly communicate technical designs, trade-offs, progress, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
Own end-to-end delivery, from requirements and design through implementation, testing deployment and production support; ensuring reliability, quality and on-time execution.
About you:
8+ years of hands-on development experience and 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams OR large engineering projects, data pipelines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams.
Empathy for customers and teammates.
Proficiency in modern backend technologies (e.g., Go, Java, Scala or similar) and cloud-based architectures.
Strong technical background in backend or data-intensive systems, with the ability to guide architecture and design discussions.
Experience with API integrations (REST/HTTP).
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
Experience with Agile software development and Product Development Lifecycle.
Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
