Supports effective research, development, fielding, sustainment and improvement of AF capabilities by identifying intelligence requirements, deficiencies, integrating intelligence, and providing needed intelligence data and infrastructure in a timely and secure manner.

Position requires DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification (SCWD). Area of Consideration (AoC) and Level are to be determined by supervisor. Employee must meet DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification requirements applicable to the duties of the position. Selectee must meet the designated certification AoC and Level requirement; if not has 1 year (Basic) 2 years (Intermediate-Expert) from Security Cooperation Workforce Development-Database entry date to become certified in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Defense Security Cooperation Agency requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may be subject the incumbent to adverse action. Incumbent is required to maintain 20 hours of professional development continuous learning every two-year period to maintain good standing in the DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program. Certification Required: SCWD Basic. Qualifications This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Intelligence Series 0132, There are no Individual Occupational Requirements for this series. Use the Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions for this series EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Collecting, processing and disseminating of intelligence data to support decision making at various levels of command; Converting and refinement of data into usable information for reporting to commanders and decision-makers; Demonstrating knowledge of intelligence cycle and intelligence policies and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, and USAF. Applying working knowledge of acquisition policies and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a system's lifecycle. Using advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources; Working with national intelligence community and knowing their structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and inter-relationships of the national IC, DoD, and USAF. Knowledge of acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; Acquisition Intelligence analysis mission and strategy; and the roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of USAF research laboratories, acquisition program offices, and life-cycle management, nuclear, sustainment, and system testing enterprises. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research methods, techniques, and practices and advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods used to identify and analyze complex multi-source intelligence information to produce detailed intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, identify intelligence deficiencies, and advocate for customer requirements. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing intelligence assessments that directly support customer requirements and leverage division intelligence capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally an in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/ or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and competing resource, based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
