You’ll be a key contributor within a high‑performing development team that partners closely with Front Office. In this role, you will:
Contribute to the strategic build‑out of Front Office configuration in Murex
Optimise, support, and enhance trading, risk management, and pricing components in response to market change
Work closely with Rates and Fixed Income traders to understand, challenge, and translate business requirements
Support deployment and ongoing operation of production artefacts
Contribute to our agile culture, promoting test automation, CI/CD, and scrum best practice
Participate in an on‑call roster from time to time, owning resolution of critical Front Office issues to ensure seamless operation of our systems, products and platforms

As a Murex Front Office Developer, you will have strong in depth understanding of the nuances of this technology platform, (or equivalent complex trading technology) and how it supports live trading environments.
You will demonstrate
Strong experience within Global Markets technology, with deep specialisation in the Murex platform supporting Front Office trading environments.
Proven expertise delivering and leading Front Office Murex configurations across multiple asset classes including Rates, Equities, Commodities, Fixed Income, Credit, FXMM, FX Derivatives, and Interest Rate Derivatives.
Strong hands-on ownership of Front Office configuration and product onboarding, including:
New product setup and lifecycle management
eTradepad configuration and trader workflow optimisation
Trading strategies and booking models
Pre-trade controls and validations
Pricing configuration, curves construction, and Market Data integration
Deep understanding of pricing models, risk sensitivities, and P&L behaviour, with the ability to challenge, validate and refine trading requirements in partnership with Traders and Structurers.
Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to Front Office stakeholders, translating complex trading and structuring requirements into robust, scalable Murex solutions while balancing control, performance, and time-to-market.
Demonstrated experience leading impact assessments, change governance, and production issue resolution, including root cause analysis of pricing, booking, or trade flow discrepancies in live trading environments.
Supporting technical capability across SQL, Unix/Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS preferred), with relevant certifications considered advantageous.
Experience mentoring junior analysts and engineers, driving best practice configuration standards, and contributing to the strategic evolution of the Front Office Murex platform.
