Staff Engineer,  Product Engineering (Prod Dev)
 

Job Description:

The Data Center & Energy Product Engineering Team ensures the successful introduction of high-volume Power Module products into manufacturing. This role involves close collaboration with Design, Test, Applications, and Manufacturing teams throughout the New Product Development cycle. Key responsibilities include defining and executing qualification and reliability plans, analyzing yield performance and driving improvements, approving datasheet content, performing device characterization with data analysis and validating test coverage using bench equipment. Additionally, the role requires strong knowledge of assembly processes, to ensure manufacturability and quality, especially when reviewing and approving bonding diagrams.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 5 years and more experience as a Staff Product Engineer working on high-performance Power Module ICs (mixed-signal analog/digital) is preferred 
  • Proficient in bench test equipment and measurement techniques
  • Has familiarity with hardware, software, packaging, and assembly fundamentals
  • Experienced in design analysis and root-cause problem resolution
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
