About the Role

The Staff DevSecOps Engineer drives the secure, scalable, and accessible delivery of software across our entire digital ecosystem. This role bridges security, automation, and developer experience, embedding secure-by design principles into every stage of our CI/CD pipelines and product lifecycles. You’ll operate as a technical leader and cultural catalyst, coaching development teams, designing secure automation frameworks, and ensuring that our systems are compliant, inclusive, and resilient. This position supports multiple teams, establishing a unified DevSecOps strategy that align application and infrastructure security with the principles of accessibility, privacy, and security.

  • Automate compliance with privacy, data governance, and ethical AI frameworks to ensure secure handling of sensitive information and accessibility alignment.
  • Develop and maintain observability pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to improve security visibility, performance monitoring, and reliability.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Conduct and translate security and accessibility audits into actionable engineering improvements.
  • Partner with Data Privacy, Compliance, and Governance teams to embed DevSecOps controls into enterprise frameworks.
  • Promote an automation-first culture to reduce manual deployment steps, configuration drift, and technical debt.
  • Support incident response and post-mortem processes to ensure continuous system hardening.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or DevSecOps, including leadership or mentorship responsibilities.
  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure cloud architectures, and risk assessment methodologies.
